Norman Smith, Electric Vehicle Specialist

Has been there and done that for 25 years and knows why half the ideas big auto is proposing about electrification of transportation simply don’t work. Norm worked on the T-Zero, the predecessor of Tesla Roadster.

Norm has been a consultant with 16 years in the electric vehicle industry. Designed and taught Electric Vehicle course at Cerritos College. Production manager for Lithium-Ion battery assembly at Boundless Corp. Former production manager at AC Propulsion (Built the T-zero electric auto, predecessor to the Tesla Roadster). Guest speaker and served on the Industrial Advisory Board at Cal Polly Pomona and was a research assistant for Lithium-Ion batteries and Ultra capacitors for Space Flight and terrestrial use.
