The Boulder Electric Vehicle team includes some of the most experienced people in the world of electric vehicles. Our team members have all built electric vehicles or electric vehicle conversions, many with spectacular results. The heaviest electric car in the world, the fastest electric motorcycle in the world, the first street legal electric motorcycle in Sweden are some of our standout achievements. One our members worked on the T-Zero, the predecessor of Tesla Roadster.

Carter Brown, CEO
Team builder, brings in everything on time and on budget, a serial entrepreneur who started out building kayaks and built the heaviest electric passenger car in the world.

Peter has more than 25 years experience in sales and marketing of technology related services and products, both as an executive and as an entrepreneur.

Bill Dube, CTO
An engineer’s engineer who built the world’s fastest electric motorcycle. He also wrote the safety rules for the National Electric Drag Racing Association. Extremely knowledgeable about how battery packs go together to prevent them from having safety issues.

Zach Tyler, Chief Designer
Has an easier more elegant design for almost everything. Has an eye for advanced composites that offer environmental friendly relief from the status quo. Has built a dozen EVs.

Eva Hakansson, CMO
Knows the economics behind the hype and why and how EVs can take hold in the marketplace. Built and registered the first street legal, highway capable motorcycle in Sweden.

Norman Smith, Electric Vehicle Specialist
Has been there and done that for 25 years and knows why half the ideas big auto is proposing about electrification of transportation simply don’t work. Worked on the T-Zero, the predecessor of Tesla Roadster.

Manfred Will, Manufacturing Specialist
An electrical engineer by training he knows how to keep our designs so that we can manufacture them consistently and with QC. Having worn all the hats, he has experience in all aspects of a manufacturing environment.
